More Women with Mettle!!!

My daughter: She completed her first walking race this past year where she walked 7 1/2 miles. She is 8 years old. She didn't complain and held out until the end. Of course, once she crossed the finish line she begged to be carried. :-) But I admire her willingness to try at such a young age.

Bryn Black: My friend has decided now is the time for her to compete in a biathlon. For those of you that don't know a biathlon is cross-country skiing and shooting targets. This is a huge undertaking and I admire her for taking a chance, working hard, and focusing on her goal. She has competed in one pre-biathlon. I will keep you updated on her progress.
